From September through April, CEW is open:
M      8:00 am-7:00 pm
T-F   8:00 am-5:00 pm

From May through August, CEW is open:
M-F   8:00-5:00

The CEW library is available for use during all of these hours.  The Center's services are available to anyone, whether affiliated with the University of Michigan or a community member.  Counseling appointments are available by appointment; call 734.764.6360.

Location & Directions

CEW is located at 330 E. Liberty Street between S. Division and 5th Streets. Look for the blue "CEW" awning outside our building; CEW's entrance is at the top of the exterior stairs. Parking is available in the newly constructed underground lot with entrances on both Division and Fifth Avenue, as well as in the public surface lot across from the Ann Arbor Public Library (accessible from William Street), the parking structure on 4th & William, or the Maynard parking structure located between Thompson and Maynard Street just off of E. To access the elevator, please use the entrance at the northwest corner of the building and buzz for CEW.

From Local Freeways

A. From I-94, take either the State Street or Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. exit.
If the State Street exit is taken, follow State Street north, past the Michigan Union. Turn left onto Liberty Street. CEW is located at 330 E. Liberty, between Division and Fifth Streets. To park, turn from State Street left onto William, and park at either the lot between 4th and 5th Aves. or in the structure at 4th and William. 

If the Ann Arbor-Saline exit is taken, follow Ann Arbor-Saline Road north, and it becomes Main Street. Pass Stadium and continue to Liberty Street where you turn right. CEW is located between 5th Ave. and Division St.  To park, turn south off Liberty at 4th Ave and park in the city structure at 4th and William or the city lot between 4th and 5th (enter off William St.).

B. From M-14 West, take the Ann Arbor Downtown exit (number 3).
Continue on and the road becomes Main Street. Turn left at Liberty. CEW is located between 5th Ave. and Division St. To park, turn south off Liberty at 4th Ave and park in the city structure at 4th and William or the city lot between 4th and 5th (enter off William St.).
