According to the U-M Alumni Association, 80% of successful job seekers’ efforts were spent on networking. Join us in discussing the best current strategies to help you build high quality connections. Attendees will discuss how to use informational interviewing, and networking do’s and don’ts. 

This workshop is free, open to all and limited to 20 registrants.

Larissa Siregar is a Global Activities Scholar in the School of Social Work's MSW program and a Management intern at CEW. Throughout her work experiences abroad as well as within the US, the relationships she has built led her to incredible opportunities, otherwise difficult to come by. She has come to learn the importance of building professional relationships, being proactive in garnering information about potential opportunities, and expanding one's social circle to include individuals of all professional levels in order to focus on collaboration for social change.

Samara Hough is a counselor for the Center for the Education of Women. She provides support to students and community members to navigate difficult life choices as it relates to career and academic pursuits. In addition, Samara has provided crisis support to students and collaborates with campus units to ensure student advocacy.
