Focus on Leadership Seminar

CEW offers a one-day leadership development training session every year in May for UM staff, the Focus on Leadership (FOL) seminar. This one-day training includes presentations on University Organization and Culture, Leadership Vision and Values, and Intercultural Communication; an overview of the ALP selection process and tips on how to develop a more competitive application; and a networking lunch to give participants an opportunity to connect with staff from other University units and departments.

Priority is given to those applicants who were not selected for the ALP program. If additional spaces are available, they will be opened up to those persons who have expressed an interest in this leadership development training opportunity.
