If you are a community college student who has already transferred to the University of Michigan, or is considering making such a transfer . . . The Center for the Education of Women is one campus spot you should definitely visit. CEW is excited about a whole range of events and services we have created, all aimed at giving you the information and support you need to succeed at UM. For over forty years CEW has been helping students to adjust and thrive on our campus. Now, with generous financial support from our friends and donors, our new Community College Transfer Student Program (CCTSP) offers you a range of events and services. Our doors are open to you and our services are free. Make success a part of your future. CEW can help!

Speakers and discussion groups on topics of concern to community college transfers
Support groups based on needs and schedules of community college transfers

Services at CEW
CEW offers a welcoming, supportive environment in which to explore educational, professional and situational issues. Our senior counseling staff is highly trained in assisting students during their adjustment phase and beyond.
Free counseling: educational and career counseling; specific referrals to units outside CEW and community resources.
Scholarships: CEW competitive scholarships for returning students; and information on scholarships available outside CEW.
Small emergency fund: funding is available to students facing serious and unexpected financial problems, who meet our eligibility requirements.
