Giving to CEW

Every gift made to the Center is unique and greatly appreciated. People choose to support the Center because they believe in the important work that is being done here and value the role that education and employment play in an individual’s independence and advancement. Some people choose to make a gift to celebrate a milestone in their lives or in the lives of someone they love. Some people honor the memory of an important person in their lives by creating a memorial at the Center. For every person and every motivation the Center is eager to honor your interests.

Our Promise to You

Every dollar matters to CEW. The Center values and greatly appreciates each gift and takes an obligation to serve the donor and our clients with integrity.

Responsibility: We will use your gift wisely and respect your intended use expressed at the time of your gift.

Appreciation: Upon receipt of your gift, the University of Michigan will send a letter of thanks and documents necessary for your taxes. Additionally, CEW will offer our thanks. All gifts are listed annually in the “Honor Roll” released in our spring newsletters.

Privacy: We respect the wishes of our donors who prefer to have their support given anonymously.

How to Give

Give by mail or fax: Print the writeable form and fax it to CEW at 734.998.6203 or mail it to us at 330 East Liberty, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. .

Give by telephone: We appreciate the fact that making a decision to partner with an organization can be a complicated process. Ways to Give

Annual Fund: Provide unrestricted money to support the ongoing operations of the Center and its mission.

Endowments: Offer funding to support CEW services and programs in perpetuity.

Planned Gifts or Bequests: Include a gift to CEW in your will or trust. This type of gift offers simplicity, flexibility, and versatility.

Transfer of Stock or Securities: There are many ways to make a gift of stock or securities to CEW. To understand these options as well as review the potential tax advantages, see the University’s guide to giving.

Memorials: Make a gift to CEW in your name or in the name of a loved one while realizing tax benefits for your kindness.
