Career & Education Counseling
Our professionally trained and experienced counselors work within a developmental framework to help individuals consider their options, make informed choices, and both define and resolve problems while focusing on issues of achieving their career goals and balance between school, work, and family.
CEW+ is open to members of the community beyond the U-M students, faculty, and staff. This includes dual career partners/spouses, greater Ann Arbor community members, prospective students, post-docs, and U-M alumni.
Typical counseling services for community members may include discussions around:
- Determining next steps in returning to school
- Establishing next steps for a career change
- Resume/cover letter/application review
- Assistance in navigating organizational and systems issues
- Balancing challenges of work, life, and family
- Mock interviews
To schedule an appointment, fill out this online form, call 734-764-6360, or email [email protected].
