POSTPONED | Lunch and Learn: New Title IX Regulations Impact on Pregnant & Parenting Students
CEW+. 330 E. Liberty Street, Ann Arbor MI 48104
At this point in time, changes to the University of Michigan’s Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Policy are on hold until later in the academic year pending several federal lawsuits that have blocked the U.S. Department of Education from enforcing its latest Title IX regulations. We will reschedule this event when there are updates to university policies and procedures. You can read this article for more information.
In April 2024 the U.S. Department of Education released its final regulations implementing Title IX, the federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in education, including discrimination against pregnant and parenting students.
Please RSVP to join us for lunch and a presentation by U-M Ann Arbor’s Title IX Coordinator Elizabeth Seney, who will share how these changes impact pregnant and parenting students on our campus.
