As part of the CEW+Inspire initiative, CEW+ normally holds mindful meditation sits virtually on Wednesdays at 12:15. However, as staff works to transition back to campus for the fall, CEW+ will not host be hosting external virtual events until the week of August 16th.

Being present in the moment is a skill that can be learned when practiced on a regular basis and is especially important during these trying times. Psychological stress can damper your overall health, affecting your ability to remain resilient in the face of challenges. Evidence-based meditation has been shown to also reduce implicit age and race bias, reduce the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and pain, improve cognitive functioning, and assist in ending ruminating thought patterns. Free and open to all levels of practice.
