Join us at the Center for the Education of Women+ to share refreshments, fond memories, and stories. Together we will remember and reflect on the successes that have shaped Doreen’s career, 27+ years of which have been at CEW+!
Whether you’ve come to know Doreen and CEW+ through employment at the Center, partnerships, scholarships and the CEW+ Scholar community, social work internships, mindful meditation practice, the CEW+ Inspire Awards, or counseling and the CEW+ emergency fund, all are welcome to join CEW+ for this open-house style event.

As part of the afternoon’s celebration, we invite you to consider bringing a single flower* of your choosing to place in a communal vase. Each flower, unique and temporary – a gift of nature in the dead of winter in Michigan – will add a touch of color and serve as a symbol of the beauty made possible when we work together across differences.
*Yes, only one flower- large or small! If you buy a bouquet, select one bloom to bring and keep the rest for yourself or share it with someone else. Spread the joy!
