CEW+ Inspire Midweek Mindfulness Sits offer a virtual community of practice for mindfulness meditation. Whether you are new to exploring the benefits of mindfulness or you are looking to build on an established practice, all are welcome! Each 30-minute session includes instruction, support, and guided meditation, as well as an opportunity for self-directed mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness is not a fixed character trait; rather, it is an attitude and type of awareness that can be developed with practice. Over time, mindfulness meditation can build resilience and coping skills that support you in gaining perspective, navigating the demands of daily life, and building compassion. Weekly guided sits explore a variety of mindfulness qualities, including present-moment awareness, open and directed attention, awareness of body sensations, non-judgment, and self-compassion. Participate weekly, or drop in as your schedule allows.
