CEW+ Scholar Community Friday night dinners return with a gathering for nontraditional scholars in STEM. Join Wyman scholars old and new to find shared experiences among the challenges you’ve navigated at U-M and in your careers. Attendees will learn how to craft paper stars to contribute to an art installation at CEW+ in Irma Wyman’s honor. Share a meal, make art, network, and honor Irma’s legacy.

5:30 pm – Arrive at CEW+, ice breakers and hors d’oeuvres

6:00 pm  – Workshop: Crafting Froebel Stars

• Contribute to an art installation in Irma Wyman’s honor, led by alumna, Susanne Jul, CSE PhD (1997 Wyman Scholar)

6:30 pm – Dinner and continued crafting

• Sharing stories of Irma
• Connecting with other scholars in STEM

7:15 pm – Dessert and networking

• Get to know recent scholars
• Updates, opportunities, and support needed
