Dear CEW+ Friends,

I hope you will find this magazine as engaging as I do, as it highlights the impact of women over time and how their legacies shaped our existence from the Center for the Continuing Education of Women to the Center for the Education of Women to CEW+. While our name has changed several times, the power of our work has continually evolved to ensure that we meet the needs of our community (students, faculty, staff, and the broader Ann Arbor community). In this magazine, you will learn about some of the innovators and powerhouses that propelled the work of the Center. You will also learn about scholars, fellows, and others in our community who are changing the world through their scholarship and determination.

Together, these stories remind me that CEW+ is not defined by a single moment or leader, but by the continuum of people and ideas that build upon one another. I hope you see, as I do, that this magazine is not only a record of our history but also a tribute to the resilience, passion, and determination that continue to drive CEW+—yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
