CEW+ News: Spring 2025

Dear CEW+ Friends,

Despite recent changes at the University of Michigan, CEW+ remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting all students and the broader community. Since 1964, our mission has remained unchanged: We navigate circumstantial barriers by providing academic, financial, and professional support to help students and the community reach their personal potential. As we continue to evolve and adapt to the needs of our diverse student body, we remain focused on addressing challenges, fostering opportunity, and supporting individuals on their unique journeys toward success.

You can read the latest edition of our CEW+ News magazine here. This magazine is our tribute to the scholars, fellows, donors, and staff who made this year a success by creating opportunities for change, supporting others on their journeys, developing unique programming, and conducting life-changing research. The stories in this publication highlight the adaptability and resilience of our principles by showcasing how our scholars, fellows, donors, and staff reflect our mission through their unique experiences, stories, and projects.

The ripple effect of CEW+ grows in magnitude each year. The symbiotic relationship between donors, staff, and those we support keeps Jean Campbell’s spark alive–to support individuals on their journey so they can reach their potential. Ripples from this relationship are powerful as donors cheer on our scholars and fellows, scholars and fellows create change in their communities and through their research, and CEW+ supports and bears witness to the unfolding impacts across our vast community.

We hope you enjoy these stories.

In partnership,

Tiffany Marra, PhD
CEW+ Director
