Equal Means Equal: A Special Safehouse Film Screening Event at the Michigan Theatre
Please join SafeHouse Center on October 22 from 5:30-8:30pm at the Michigan Theater for a special sneak preview of portions of the new documentary film, Equal Means Equal.
This event includes a special showing of relevant clips from the film, Equal Means Equal, the documentary that Bust Magazine called potentially “The Best Women’s Rights Documentary… Ever.” This moving documentary will contain the perspective from national leaders, experts in their field, and stories from survivors. The film excerpts will be followed by a panel of experts. Special guest appearance by film director and women’s rights activist, Kamala Lopez. Kamala, the director of Equal Means Equal, will be attending the event to share behind-the-scenes narratives about her experiences in making the film.
