Fifty-four University of Michigan students will be celebrated this September as CEW Scholars and Fellows. The CEW Scholarship Program was started in 1970 to assist students who were unable to access other scholarship funds–such as part time and older students– has awarded nearly 1500 scholarships in its 43 years. Thanks to generous foundations and individuals, all of the scholarships are privately funded.

CEW Scholars and Fellows contribute to societies across the world, serving in a variety of occupations as diverse as teaching, medicine, public policy, academia, music, and engineering along with countless others.
